[Hamville Tragedies]

More serious content is needed.

Parts were good, parts were bad. The whole Jackson thing that was supposed to be funny wasn't. "Humor" and "Tragidy" can go well together when they are not marred by pop culture. The photos also detract from the overall style of the piece. Otherwise you showed alot of imagination. My favorite part was when the tail ate the dog. There was a great story here too (behind the obvious newgrounds level of humor). I hope this doesn't sound negative to you, I do not (read rarely) review movies I do not like. I hope you can hunker down and do some serious shorts in the same style (or even remake this one) because I sure would like to see them.

Well you missed the mark this time...

But it's clear your pointed in the right direction. Keep it up I look forward to seeing more things from you.

My sugestions:
1. Lose the words. I think the animation itself is very expressive. By adding words it takes it to a level bordering on cheesy.
2.Crows don't cry, the do however cary a deep simbolic sense of loss, and regret. Use that, and don't tarnish it by adding superficial human emotions and actions to it.
3.Use the newgrounds preloader, you can alter the pictures but it has a play button.
4. KEEP IT UP!!!!!! This site needs more artists like you. Every flash you submit with content is a victory over the porn hounding, violence slobbering, and video gameing mainstream. Don't feel like your art has to be apreciated to be good. Your animation and illustrations may not be on par, YET, but with more practice, and the mind it is clear you have, you can do great things. KEEP IT UP!!!!

Almost there...

Some parts were lacking. But if you developed this style and presented more serious content this could be real art. As for a story I don't see that there is, or has to be a story line to this. Keep it up, I would love to see some more when you develop this style.
